The Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) was founded in 1878 and is one of the largest voluntary metropolitan bar associations in the country, with more than 24,000 members. LACBA serves attorneys, judges, and other legal professionals through 26 sections, committees, networking events, live and on-demand CLE programs, and pro bono opportunities, as well as public service and informational resources.
Iranian-American Bar Association
IABA is a professional organization that seeks to educate and inform the Iranian-American community about legal issues of interest and to ensure that the American public at large, our local representatives, and other government officials are fully and accurately informed on legal matters of interest and concern to the Iranian-American community. IABA also strives to foster and promote the achievements of Iranian-American lawyers and other legal professionals.
Los Angeles Youth Network
The Los Angeles Youth Network’s mission is to empower abused, neglected and homeless adolescents to become self-sufficient. We do this by providing street outreach, food, emergency shelter, a transitional living program, and educational enrichment programs in a safe and nurturing environment. LAYN was founded in 1985 as a pilot program through the High Risk Youth Project at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, spurred by the passing of the California Homeless Youth Act.
