Riss Aguilar

Riss Aguilar is an Associate Attorney at Chami Law. Prior to joining the firm, Riss earned their J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law and worked as a Legal Fellow at the ACLU's Criminal Law Reform Project.
During their time at the ACLU, Riss gained significant experience in civil rights litigation, particularly in the pretrial detention context. While in law school, Riss interned with several public interest organizations, including the ACLU, Bay Area Legal Aid, and the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund, where they further strengthened their commitment to civil rights advocacy and serving marginalized communities.
Riss is eager to draw on their previous experience to provide thoughtful, effective, and compassionate representation to every client at Chami Law.
